Introduction. The tyre, also known as the riding ring, is one of the main components of the rotary kiln. The function of the tyre is to transfer all the gravity of the cylinder (including the gravity of refractory bricks, internal devices, and materials) to the thrust roller, and make the cylinder rotate smoothly on it.
