I've been researching an affordable benchtop CNC mill to start learning with. I have looked at (as far as I know) every manufacturer and make of benchtop CNC mills. I am leaning towards the Taig MicroMill 2000. For around $2000 it looks as if you get a pretty rugged machine (compared to the Sherline and MAXNC ones).
